Natural Focus Portrait Photography
Our husband & wife team have over 17 years experience in providing the highest standard of customer service & making your outdoor family and pet portrait photography session an enjoyable experience. Our photographer Jason has a unique gift. Using soft natural light combined with the beauty of nature, he creates outdoor family & pet portrait photography that you will love displaying in your home. All our sessions take place an hour before sunset to take advantage of the warm light that has become such a feature of Jason’s style. Tracey’s friendly approach makes the process of booking your session, viewing your images and organizing your finished product a simple and pleasurable experience.
Growing up on acreage in Kurrajong I loved photography from an early age. Kids, horses, dogs, cats everywhere all gave me lots of opportunities to experiment. After many friends asking us to photograph their weddings and families, our business was born. In 2003 Tracey & I established Natural Focus Photography. I love using natural light & the spontaneity that outdoors brings especially with children & animals. When I meet a family, there is always the initial chaos. Excited children, a dog pulling on the lead & parents feeling a little hesitant about getting the family images they hope for. I love the challenge of relaxing everyone and gently putting some order into the chaos. To artistically create the images that I know they will love to display in their home. Every season brings a different look & feel so that each session has its own uniqueness.
17 years running our studio I can honestly still say the most enjoyable part of our business? When I get to see the expressions of clients when I show them their images. First at the ordering session & secondly at the pick up of their framed prints. I am a “people person”. So I love interacting with clients in helping them choose images to suit their time of life & their home. We have two children Beth (26) & Josh (22). I have experienced how time flies and the importance of those special images that captured our family over the years.
